Between Dark and Dawn is a personal photographic exploration of an altered temporality and generational linearity of the maternal spirit. I draw on the strength of my ancestors, like mother trees who nurture and protect their young. The wild and wise of nature’s fertile landscape reminds me how motherhood is complex, diverse and extraordinary.
The School of Education Gallery is open between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Per UW-Madison’s pandemic policy, visitors are asked to complete this form prior to visiting the gallery.
