Meet the Artists: Friday, May 12, 3-5pm
Location: Longenecker Horticultural Gardens, UW Arboretum, 1207 Seminole Hwy, Madison WI
The Arboretum will be the host for a site-specific art show by the UW Art Department’s undergraduate and graduate students, facilitated by Wisculpture. The art students will install over a dozen sculptures in the Longenecker Horticultural Gardens. Each artist uses the natural landscape of the Arboretum to investigate how the environment interacts with art, as well as the viewer.
The public are welcome to get close, gently interact, and respectfully touch. Please do not move, roughly handle, or sit, stand, or climb on any of the artwork.
