2009-10 Tuesday Talks

Formed in 1966, our Visiting Artist/Critic Program is the first and oldest continuosly running program of its kind in the nation. For over 40 years, we have attracted some the nation's most prominent artists, critics, and gallery and museum directors. As a part of our Visiting Artist/Critic Program, our Tuesday Talks series gives the public the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in fine art, craft and design through a series of presentations by visiting artists, critics, craftspeople and educators at the forefronts of their respective fields.

Participants in the Tuesday Talks include:

  • Two Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Fellows
  • One Guggenheim Fellow
  • Two National Endowment of the Arts recipients
  • One Renew Media Arts (Rockefeller Foundation) Fellow
  • One participant in the Whitney Biennial-the premier survey of emergent contemporary art in the United States
  • Two recipients of the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships
