Claudia Krogmeier explores the veil between the physical and the psychological. In her work, she aims to disorient viewers within cycles and fragments of the interior self. Disconnections experiments with the disintegration of human communication and invites viewers to consider what defines a social glitch.

A filmmaker, video artist, and researcher, Krogmeier uses short films and video art to explore the charged battleground between the physical and the spiritual. She experiments with ambiguity and disintegration of social interactions and language, and invites viewers to interpret open-ended narratives in their own way. She is an MFA candidate here at UW-Madison. Presented by the Wisconsin Union Directorate Art Committee.
