The inaugural Queer Madison Biennial exhibition opens at the Common Wealth Gallery featuring work by more than 30 Madison-based queer artists, UW–Madison professors, staff, students, and alumni, curated by Bo Owen & Kean O’Brien! The biennial demonstrates and documents the art by local contemporary queer artists, exhibits the formal and conceptual expansiveness of it, and builds the community. This work is especially important during the current political and social climate toward queer and trans people.
Located on the third floor of the Madison Enterprise Building at 100 S Baldwin St, accessible by both elevator and stairs. Masks are required and provided.
