Comprised of drawn and interpretive maps, field recordings and field video, The Disabled Wandering Atlas exhibits the every day experiences of disabled individuals, asking if disabled wandering exists and how it functions. This distanced social practice exhibition attempts to create an archive of both public and private wandering, with representations of disabled individuals based in the US and internationally.
Do you wander? If so, can you show us?
Huge special thanks to the Division of the Arts, The Department of Geography at UW-Madison, Jaime Martindale, and all of the artists and individuals featured in the show whose trust in me has been unparalleled and so appreciated.
