A cover illustrated by UW–Madison alumnus Taylor Rushing for Sierra Ferrell’s forthcoming album, “Trail of Flowers,” made an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show on Jan. 19.
Kimmel showed the album cover as he introduced Ferrell, who made her television debut performing her song, “Fox Hunt,” during the broadcast. “Trail of Flowers” is set to be released on March 22.
After graduating with his MFA from the School of Education’s Art Department in 2019, Rushing moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and founded Not Bad Illustration. His client list includes The Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, Austin City Limits, Sierra Nevada Beer, Dickies, New West Records, Billy Strings, and many other folk and rock artists.
