Pasadena artists James and Melissa Buchanan, who own The Little Friends of Printmaking online store, were recently featured in the Disney WonderGround gallery show, showing their prints – “real prints, not printouts” – for the whole month of July at the distinctive and eclectic downtown Disney contemporary art space that showcases unusual art collections and local artists.
The husband and wife team showed up at the recent Comic Con 2017 and wound up in the Wonderground exhibition.
James and Melissa say they first decided to join forces when they were in art school taking printmaking classes at the University of Wisconsin [BFA ’04].
