Edgar Serrano received his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and his MFA in painting and printmaking from the Yale University School of Art. Serrano’s work has been exhibited at Sean Kelly, New York, New York; PM/AM, London, England; Brief Histories, New York, New York; Jonas Mekas Visual Arts Center, Vilnius, Lithuania, and El Museo del Barrio, New York, New York, among many others. He has participated at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Artist Workspace Residency and Studio Fellow at NXTHVN 2022-2023. His work has been reviewed in The New York Times, Vogue México y Latinoamérica, The New Yorker, Art in America, New York Magazine, and Zing Magazine.
