Bring your lunch and hear a great artists’s talk. Matysek-Snyder graduated from the UW-Madison MFA program and is currently Assistant Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, where he is head of the Wood area. His work includes public sculpture, public seating, and functional objects. His stacked firewood piece is on permanent display at the downtown Madison Public Library.
