Focused on editorial and publication design with an emphasis on print, my work explores typography, layout, and image curation as tools for visual storytelling.

I’m inspired by the intersection of design, culture, and sustainability, and by work that brings people together through thoughtful visual systems.

When I’m not designing, I enjoy painting, discovering new coffee shops, spending time outdoors, and hosting dinner parties with friends and family.

Sooa Cho

I craft digital experiences by blending design, storytelling, and technology, building distinctive brands and websites by Adobe programs and Figma. My approach combines creativity with innovation, pushing beyond the ordinary to deliver work that feels both functional and inspiring.

From ambitious startups to established businesses, I collaborate closely with a college lab to bring their ideas to academic environment, shaping interactive experiences that connect deeply with audiences. Every project is more than just a website. It’s a journey of transforming visions into digital realities that engage, inspire, and leave a lasting impression.

I let my work speak to my love for color, cartoons, and especially humor.‍

Please enjoy!

Cam Erhardt

I’m a multi-media artist interested in one’s sense of the self through gender expression and growing up in a digital world. My art focuses on how interpersonal relationships have molded me into the person I am today, for better or worse, through mixed media collages, mini video games, and notes app journaling.

I work in a variety of mediums but have fallen in love with graphic design and illustration. I will be graduating from UW–Madison in 2026 with a BFA in graphic design and a minor in game design. As part of my senior thesis, I am conceptualizing, designing, and marketing a fake video game (as in… it isn’t available to play. But I’m making it look like it exists!). You can track the process on my portfolio under the game design section.

When I’m not making up stories and messing around in Illustrator, I’m walking by the lake, sketching my friends, or bothering my friend’s cat.

Growing up, art has always been a creative outlet for me and has allowed me to express myself in unique ways. It has shaped me into the outgoing and ambitious person I am today and continues to open doors for new experiences and opportunities. Sports have also been a constant in my life, from playing competitively to capturing the energy and excitement of athletic events through photography and design. This passion for sports, combined with my love for design and storytelling, has fueled my desire to pursue a career in sports creatives through photography, graphic design, or marketing focused on brand storytelling, audience engagement, and strategic visual communication.

Over the past five years, I’ve explored diverse creative fields, from working with a local blacksmith and machine fabricator to curating and managing sales at an art gallery and sculpture park. I currently serve as the Executive Marketing Director for AreaRED, where I lead brand strategy and brand storytelling across web and social platforms, manage content calendars and content planning, create on-brand graphics, and capture and edit photo and video content at University of Wisconsin athletics events to enhance engagement and strengthen visual identity. I also work as a Creative Intern with Wisconsin Athletics, collaborating with designers, photographers, and staff to produce on-brand photo and graphic content aligned with creative strategy and platform requirements. Outside of work, I stay involved in my community by designing promotional materials, creating logos, photographing senior portraits, and capturing moments at sports events, and I’m eager to continue learning, build a strong portfolio, and eventually mentor others.

Iliana Harris

Throughout my life, I’ve been passionate about art, the environment, and community involvement. My relationship to sustainability and wilderness is a big inspiration and theme throughout my creations as a graphic designer.

During my time in college, I created social media templates for the on-campus nature preserve, acted as a student ambassador for the School of Education, and worked as a Student Assistant for the UW–Madison Art Department, creating outreach materials and assisting with prospective student tours. Through these opportunities, I have developed my design skills, leadership, public speaking, and understanding of the needs of various audiences.

I’m seeking opportunites pomoting life sciences, sustainability, or companies who share these values through design, outreach, and communication because I want to create work that is socially relevant. I want to do work that makes a positive change in my local community, and hopefully, on a larger scale.

Laney Harrison

My primary focus is creative direction and branding, with additional experience in publication and UX design, including designing and building this site myself. I enjoy exploring a range of artistic practices, and I’m currently experimenting with screen printing, though painting remains my favorite medium. Outside the studio, I like getting outdoors, exploring Madison, and cozying up with a good book.

Chloe Henry

I’m a graphic designer and artist with a passion for creativity, storytelling, and meaningful design who studied Graphic Design, Dance Studies, and Entrepreneurship at UW–Madison. I love blending artistry and strategy to create visuals that connect with people. My skills span brand identity, logo design, event visuals, and fine arts. I enjoy exploring how design can shape experiences—whether through digital media, the physical arts, or personal brands.

Right now, I’m excited about growing chloekatedesign, expanding my portfolio, and collaborating with other creatives and small businesses who value strong visual identity and authentic connection. In the future, I hope to combine my design expertise and entrepreneurial drive to build a creative studio that helps artists and entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life.

Jacob Marcoux

I’m a multidisciplinary artist based in Wisconsin, working across drawing, painting, and graphic design. My practice centers on living beings, with a particular focus on the human figure as a way to explore emotion, presence, and narrative.

I earned my BFA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and have spent the past five years developing a practice that moves between traditional and digital mediums. While pen and ink is at the core of what I do, I like letting the idea decide the format rather than forcing it into one lane.

My work is driven by storytelling. Each piece acts as a fragment to narrative of life, often leaving meaning open-ended so viewers can bring their own interpretations and experiences into it. I’m especially interested in how subtle expressions, gestures, and moments can suggest deeper emotional undercurrents.

I draw inspiration from everyday life, small interactions, passing moments, things that might normally go unnoticed. At the same time, I’m heavily influenced by pop culture, cartoons, and music, which shape the tone and visual language of what I make. That mix tends to create work that feels both familiar and a little offbeat.

At its core, my work is about the human experience. I try to capture moments, emotions, and perspectives that are difficult to put into words, and translate them into something visual and felt.

Katelyn Perry

From Los Angeles, California, I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design and illustration at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and work as the production artist intern at PBS Wisconsin. I have always been passionate about drawing since I was young and love to design my own characters and worlds. I am also incredibly interested in the world of graphic design and hope to incorporate my love of illustrating into creating designs for projects in areas such as advertisement and branding.

Thalia Powell

My knowledge of both digital design styles and traditional principles of fine art combine to inform a detailed and balanced aesthetic, and a flexible approach with attention to detail and visual cohesion. The two emphases of my education influence each other. My knowledge of tactile processes influences my design aesthetic, pulling me towards layout design and illustration. Similarly, I feel a clear translation of design principles into the way I compose and balance the elements in sculptures and paintings.

I love creating, making, and the community that comes with it. My practice as a designer and artist continues to evolve through persistent curiosity and enthusiasm for finding new ways to challenge myself. I love creating, making, and the community that comes with it. Outside of creating, I enjoy walking along the lake while talking on the phone, baking banana bread, going solo at art museums, and reading fantasy books to escape schoolwork.

Madelynn Retzlaff

I am a graphic designer, painter, and illustrator based in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. I am currently a graduating senior at UW–Madison. As a freelancer, I have designed book covers, sold prints of artworks, and worked with clients in branding & identity. I am currently working to strengthen my portfolio and continue to expand my expertise in art and design. My design work blends representation and whimsy to create beautiful story-driven visuals.
